February Feels

A quick round-up of the the songs that gave me all the feels this fine February.  I listened to a lot of old John Mayer and Taking Back Sunday, thanks to Apple Music's reminder that I listened to them both repeatedly in high school.  Stevie Wonder tops the list simply because I got ready in the morning every single day with this song on repeat.  Sublime comes in second because it's my walk-into-work song and my walk-out-of-work song.  February was a strange month.

Sir Duke - Stevie Wonder
Quotable Lyrics:
Music is a world within itself
With a language we all understand
With an equal opportunity
For all to sing, dance, and clap their hands

Santeria - Sublime
Quotable Lyrics:
What I really wanna know, mah baby.
Oh, what I really wanna say is there's just one, way back, and I'll make it, yeah.
My soul will have to wait

Love Never Felt So Good - Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake
Quotable Lyrics:
Cause, baby every time I love you
It's in and out my life,
In-out, baby
Tell me, if you really love me
It's in and out my life,
Driving me, baby
'Cause, baby, love never felt so good

My Stupid Mouth - John Mayer
Quotable Lyrics:
One more thing
Why is it my fault?
So maybe I try too hard
But it's all because of this desire
Just wanna be liked
Just wanna be funny
Looks like the joke's on me
So call me "Captain Backfire"

St. Patrick's Day - John Mayer
Quotable Lyrics:
We should take a ride tonight around the town
And look around at all the beautiful houses
Something in the way that blue lights on a black night
Can make you feel more
Everybody, it seems to me, just wants to be
Just like you and me

My Blue Heaven - Taking Back Sunday
Quotable Lyrics:
Is this all too familiar?
Does it happen all the time?
I'm just asking you to hear me
Could you please, just once, just hear me?
More then anything you wanted to be right
Still it's you, you, it's you I can't deny

You're So Last Summer - Taking Back Sunday
Quotable Lyrics:
She said
"You're a touch overrated,
You're a lush and I hate it
But these grass stains on my knees
They won't mean a thing"

Die A Happy Man - Thomas Rhett
Quotable Lyrics:
I don't need no vacation, no fancy destination
Baby you're my great escape
We could stay at home, listen to the radio
Or dance around the fireplace
